Last Wednesday Rosie and I took part in a two and a half hour pottery session. I had previously done a few tasters in pottery but not really got into it that much. Last Wednesday was different. Rosie had found this great little pottery studio on the outskirts of Brighton called Circle Studio.
I already had a vague idea of the kind of thing I wanted to make and Barbara the teacher was more than happy to pass on her knowledge. She gave advice on which clay would be best for the pieces we wanted to make and instructions on how to create them. I made a fair amount of beads, ready to be painted and glazed this week I hope. I also started a pot and am really looking forward to finishing it this week. I'll keep you updated! Labels: craft, handmade
